Error in Log code=429

Server Version#: 1.16.2.1297
On Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS

I get a lot of warnings inside my log and I don’t know how to fix this. I had open another topic with “died sometimes” but I don’t want to mix this. Until now server runs well without any crash. But that 429 error makes me nervous.

Is there any reason to get nervous?

The code 429 is a Rate Limiting return. It means your server is making too many requests per minute of Plex.tv

I had spoken to Operations about this yesterday after viewing your earlier logs.
They discussed the matter and realized they could relax the limit.

You should no longer be bothered by it. If you still receive them after restarting PMS, it means your server is making greater than 200 requests per minute which is deemed excessive. Normal operation is about 10 each minute.

These events occur when switching between servers and/or user accounts.

Thanks for explaining. That sounds good for me.

Me again. I get again a lot of 429 errors. Approximate 5 per seconds. And additional I get a lot of PubSub: Received notifyConnectivity event with incorrect async identifier xxxxx.

May I see the logs please? 429 are throttling messages. I need to see the debug logs of what is causing them.
