There might be a few more “gotchas” in PMS.
In today’s engineering meeting, they asked us to report them as soon as identified.
We know what it is and what has to change but searching for double quotes (") in software in not practical.
What we end up looking for are the keywords in the SQLITE statement.
My 1.23.2.4656 is showing as “up-to-date” in my Plex Docker in Unraid. I guess I’ll have to wait for that build to propagate!

As a Plex Pass user you can switch to beta and you’ll see the latest. It can be found in Settings → General at the bottom of the screen.
That’s a handy tip! Sadly I can’t tell my docker to go and get the beta version, even if the Plex Server itself knows that there’s a new version available…
I have the same issue (std::bad_cast) with 1.23.2.4656. Very annoying. I find it weird that I can view the same photos with a different user, and it works as expected. However, viewing as the Plex administrator causes the exception to be thrown.
