Error Repairing A Database

I have discovered that I have an error in my database as indicated by reading the server logs. While Plex works there are things I cannot update, like some shows keep showing as watched and not being able to edit tags, unable to empty the trash.

Walking through the instructions on repairing the database I get to the last step of reading the dump file back into the empty database and it creates an empty file. The last line of the dump file says: “ROLLBACK; – due to errors” which seems to me the dump process itself failed.

I was hoping not to loose all my watched status / associated devices. Does anyone have any other process I could try on it?

Repair one of the earlier backup copies and hope they don’t exhibit the same issue.

Alternatively try extracting only the viewstates:

Going back to a previous version was successful. Thanks so much!

I still recommend doing the repair procedure on this version of the DB file as well.
Just to make sure there is not already damage growing inside.

I did the repair process on the file before putting it into use to make sure.
