I’m using the latest server and PC versions on Windows 10 (both server and player).
If I navigate using the player to a content group and select an item that has been played, then click the 3 dots on that item and select delete and delete that one content item of a group of items, afterward when I select play I get an error.
I’ve attached a screenshot of the deletion process I’m talking about and the play error afterwards. This is repeatable 100%. Drill down from the main menu screen to a content group, then select a content item, then delete it using Plex’s delete option and from that point on, I can not select play from the main menu on that content group without a playback error.
Somehow the system at the higher main menu level is still pointing to the deleted item as ‘to play next’ and therefore returning an error when attempting to play. It seems that when I delete from the content item level, the code isn’t updating something used at the main screen level to point to the next piece of content in the series and still pointing to the watched and deleted previous item.
This is something I’ve repeated on 2 different Plex systems so I think it’s a code issue…
