Issue with Deleting Shows (files)

I watch all my shows via Play List, Mon - Sun, then play list for entire seasons of a show. I’ve never had this issue in all the years, the bug showed up a month or two ago.
(1) If I’m in play list for a series, after watching I select the menu and chose delete, when it deletes something messes up.
(2) IE, if I delete episode one, then it shows as not being deleted, or e01 will take on the name of e02, but still show as e01, but with the wrong name, then it appears to look like e02 was deleted.
(3) In order to fix the issue, I have exit the play list every time, then enter back into it and the episodes are shown as they should be with the episode I wanted deleted actually gone.

Plex version on my LG TV has not had an update since Jan 2024, so the bug had to be introduced with one of the windows media server updates. I like to know if there is way to fix this, as it really becoming annoying.

FYI, the Plex LG app has been updated several times this year.

The most recent update 5.84.1, was eight days ago (release notes).

You can verify the version in the Plex app settings or via your list of Authorized Devices.

The app in the LG app store is a bootloader, not the full version of the Plex app. When you launch the app, it checks with hosts at plex.tv and downloads an updated version if one is available.

I’m sure this issue is not with the version of Plex on my TV, and the app on the TV is pulling from the play list that are created via the web GUI on my PC.

TV version on mine LG OLED is 5.13, according to LG this is the latest version for my model. Statement I made, saying plex on my TV had not updated since Jan., means it can’t be what introduced the bug, it had to come from plex server updated on my PC.
