I recently upgraded to plex 0.9.5.1 and love the new client for Windows. In my setup, I have eventghost to use to control my PC via USB-UIRT.
I googled around and haven’t been able to find Plex plugin for Eventghost. Is anyone using Eventghost to control the new Plex client for Windows? If so, how did you setup the plugin? Appreciate the help!
My MCE remote is set up in eventghost to send key presses (orginally set it up this way to control XBMC) and still works fine with Plex without any adjustments...
I don't have a MCE remote... I have a regular remote but use the USB-UIRT receiver. I'll play around with it and see what happens. Is anyone else using USB-UIRT with Plex and Eventghost?
I installed yesterday Plex Media Center for Windows and wanted to use Eventghost, but I’m new to it.
Tried to map some button presses to key presses and they seem to work correctly, ie when I press the Forward button on my ATI Remote Wonder the F keyboard get pressed, I tested it on Notepad app too, but inside Plex it doesn’t seem to work because Fast Forward rate doesn’t change and it stops the movie playback.
I use the hama MCE remote and works fine with plex. I cant seem to configure a button to start plex from the start menu though. This is a real pin in the ■■■■. Anyone know of a way to assign a button press to the launch of an application ?
