Exit confirmation on Android TV / Fire TV

Hi everyone,

I would like to propose a confirmation prompt when exiting Plex on Android TV (and similar devices like Fire TV) when pressing the “Back” button from the Home screen.

There are two main reasons for this:

  • Prevent accidental exits: It’s easy to press “Back” one too many times and close the app by mistake.

  • Clean exit: Confirming the exit would allow Plex to close properly and be fully cleared from the system memory.

Thoughts ?

I hate when apps do this. So it’s a nope for me.

Make it configurable then…that’s a simple fix lol.
