Tried playing a video made by my iPhone 8 1080p AAC mono but I get a message that my network connecti N is too slow. It will play for a few seconds then pause for a few seconds. This video plays fine with the old exoplayer.

Thanks for providing the sample it has been helpful to figure out the issue, turned out the file is badly demuxed and we have improved supported for these files. Will be available in the next beta and your videos will play!
