Export Plex music library with artwork

Hi all,

This is probably an odd question but I looked and couldn’t find anything in the old posts touching on this topic.

I uploaded about 1+tb of Rolling Stones Bootlegs I own and archived. The cds all have the pertinent metadata loaded properly, however, since these are “unofficial” albums the album artwork was left blank. Now, I have Plex sharing that folder on my synology nas and low and behold some of the bootleg artworks are showing up, and properly I might add.

Is there a way I can export the Plex music library with artwork and all other metadata back to a local drive for storage purposes?

I have many of the artworks in files but they are formatted as cd cases so they don’t always work out for streaming purposes and there are over 2k work of cds. I really don’t relish scanning all that cover art.

Thanks!

Maybe Lambda ?

Looked promising but couldn’t get it to install. Probably due to no more plugins are allowed. I tried both manual and WebTools install but I get errors.

Any other suggestions?

Then try and ask in it’s support thread, where the author hangs out, and provide not only logs, but also more specifics about the error, your environment etc.

Sadly nope

I figured it out. It is installed and I am refreshing metadata. Thanks for you help. I am new to the plugin scene.
