Export user on deck items from database?

Server Version#: 1.22.3.4392
Player Version#: 4.55.0

Hi,

I’ve moved my Plex server to a new host and have successfully restored view history from the database by following Move Viewstate/Ratings from One Install to Another | Plex Support.

If I open a show that I have started watching it will show the correct episodes as watched or not watched but there are no shows in the on deck section, how can I update the on deck section?

Is there another section of data I can export and reimport into the new database or some other method besides just copying the entire database?

Thanks,

That’s all that is needed. However, recent versions of PMS have combined the Continue Watching and On Deck rows into a single Continue Watching row. Are you possibly seeing this?

No. There is no on deck or continue watching at all if I go into the recommendation tab next to library.

Using Web, if you go to the show of something that you think should be OnDeck, do you see that episode listed under the poster. Like this?

No, I don’t see that under each poster either, the play button also just says play not next episode but it does have a mixture of watched and not watched episodes.

I’m thinking I’ll just bring over the entire database and the blob database file and be done with it.

I was trying to avoid that though as I had a lot of movies and shows with manually edited metadata that is locked and I wanted it reset back to a fresh install or as close to that as I could get it while maintaining user history.

Try analyzing your library.

That seems to have worked for whatever reason.

Thank you for the help.
