EyeTV streams to iPhone/iPad

What is the stream format, and is it possible to integrate it in Plex?
Helo guys!

I'm looking into the possibility to create a plugin that receives streams from EyeTV, much like the iPad/iPhone application. Some questions:

What format is this stream?

Does Plex support the format? If not, i've heard something about *Plex player*. Whould this *Plex player* increse the supported formats?
From what i understand it's possible to whatch TV from ex Safari. This web interface could be used to make a nice plugin.

Any one with a EyeTV that could investigate further? I'm getting mine in a few weeks :(

Hello,

I’ve been looking into this and the problems at the moment are:
[]The current videoplayer that is part of the Plex client doesn’t support the m3u8 playlist format that is used for HTTP Dynamic Streaming (which is what EyeTV uses).

[
]Flash and Silverlight both require the stream fragments to be wrapped in MP4 containers. The EyeTV video segments are wrapped in an MPEG TS container.

I see. Otherwise it would be "easy" to create this plugin. I've heard something about a *Plex player*, do you know anything about this (It's maybe secret? :))?

It's the Flash and Silverlight player that are used for some plugins: http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Online_videoplayers
