Hi I have setup my movie library by genre and sorted by folders, my question is i want to add posters to my folders is that possible?

No. Plex does not currently support custom images for folders.
I have also been looking for this feature.
I would like to be able to assign a custom jpeg so that the folders stand out for low-vision users. If I could assign a bold font "A" or "Adventure" for an adventure folder that would be great. I sometime like to put the person's face picture on folders for family movies and photos.
Anyway, this would be a great accessibility feature #imho.
