Has anyone ever considerd making an agent for http://fanart.tv/ ? Huge collection of high quality fan art (TV, movies, music), has an API.

Seems to be working fine. I can’t actually tell whether it’s being used but I activated the agent in my sections and I am receiving fanart (I do hace other fanart sources too though). At least I am not getting any errors.

In Plex/Web, in the Channels section, click the little + icon:
Then select More... > Metadata Agents:
Click the Fanart.tv agent icon and then Install:
Hi! Um, This is not showing up anywhere for me...is it still working? :(
I can confirm this. It has disappeared from my installed channels, however, it's still being shown in the channel directory (and has the "installed" checkmark overlay on the icon). It's also still showing in the agents configuration so I am guessing it's still installed, just not showing correctly.

Same for me here. Installed it, says its installed but I don't see it in my agents.
This is a PMS on a Synology 412+
EDIT: restarted PMS, now its there :-) (in agents)

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I have a 2010 samsung TV, the plex client updated itself today and with that came the channel directory, I was scrolling through what's new and waslike "HOLY CRAP!!! fanart.tv!!!" lol.
I installed it, but i'm not sure how it's suposed to work? Or if it even does work on the tv? Any ideas how I would check?

Its an agent - so you toggle it on or off in your Plex Media Server Settings - Agents - Freebase

I've had the Fanart.tv agent installed for a few days now, and I've enabled it on both Artists and Albums in my Music section, but it still hasn't added any art to the Artists. Am I right in expecting this to happen?
My albums already have all the album art work via the ID3 tags so I wasn't expecting to see any changes there.
