I just realised this when comparing the performance of my appletv and LG TV’s native player. The playback information in the native LG app, while has less info (especially missing the number of dropped frames), is much easier to turn on or off during playback, by pressing OK then the … button. In contrast, the apple TV info, while more extensive, can only be reached by exiting the player, going to the plex settings, and changing it. Especially with high bitrate movies that may take some time to cache, this can be an annoyance. Can we have this option inside the player window?
