I am spending some time hunting some framedrop problems between my aTV and my native LG player. I found that the aTV info screen, while much harder to turn on or off, displays dropped frames, while the LG one doesnt, and it would be a very useful feature. In the appletv app, its called enhanched video player debug, and it has much more useful features.
