[Feature] Filter by episode runtime

When my wife and I sit down to watch a tv show, the first thing we consider is how much time we have. Whether we can watch a 30 min episode, an hour, 1.5 hours, etc...

 

I have often wished that this was an available filter. In fact I have create collections and try to add all our TV shows to them. Rather than consider the lack of commercials, I just estimate the intended runtime, which is usually included on TheTVDB. If it was missing for a show, I think PMS could come up with a decent estimate of the runtime based on the average duration. For example, my collection categories look something like this:

 

  • "15 min or less": 0-15min duration
  • "30 min": 15-30min
  • "60 min": 30-60min
  • "90 min": 60-90min
  • "120 min or more": 90min+

I really like this idea. Would be great to have a filter like that on movies as well. 80-90min / 90-100min etc.

+1 from me! Sometimes its just more fun/easier to watch short episodes instead of the hour long ones.
