Feature Request: >4GB Maximum Downloaded File Size for FAT32 microSD Cards

Could we get a “Maximum File Size” option in the Download settings? I spent the entire weekend trying to find out why certain files wouldn’t play, giving the “Failed to play downloaded file, external storage not found” error.

I finally realized it was due to the downloaded file sizes being larger than 4GB, which is not allowed for FAT32 file systems. Amazon Fire Tablets only allow microSD cards if they’re formatted in FAT32, meaning that any file larger than 4GB will not play, and will give this error.

So, can we PLEASE get an “Automatically Adjust Download Settings for FAT32 File Systems” option that uses a quick algorithm to download files in whatever bitrate required to keep the downloaded file at 3.99GB or less?

Maybe even an option when you click “Download” on a file, that allows an estimated file size for each bitrate, with the “Larger than 4GB” ones in red that say “May Not Work on Removable Storage”. Just spit-balling here.
