[FEATURE REQUEST] Ability to play/queue single 'disc' of multi-disc albums

I would like the ability to play or queue up only a single disc out of a multi-disc albums.

The specific use case is generally where ‘Special’ or ‘Deluxe’ editions of albums have second or third discs with live performances, outtakes, alternative takes etc. I will often want to listen to the original album without the extra material or perhaps just one of the extras discs on its own. Currently, I have to either play the whole album and then delete from the queue or individually queue up the tracks I want to listen to.

Also, greatest hits collections or box sets containing different eras or periods of an artist and I just want to listen to one of the discs for a specific period.

i can certainly understand the use case. i think the tricky part would be figuring out how to fit it into the UI. perhaps some sort of :play_or_pause_button: button on each disc header :thinking:

Yes, when I thought about this and looking at the UI, I wondered the same thing. Nice if it could be implemented at some time, but I understand you can’t have unlimited ‘buttons’ doing every single possible thing :slight_smile:

I’d love if you’re able to add this to Plexamp. I too have this “problem” with some of my albums, where disc 2 is just a bunch of demos for example. Adding it to the disc header sound fine to me!

Maybe adding a similar menu like what already exist for albums would do the trick?

That way I could queue up disc 1 and 2 out of 3 quite easily for example.
