[Feature Request] Play Single Disc of a Multi-Disc Album

Hi, this request is around the play functionality for music on both the mobile apps and the desktop.

The music multi-disc organisation in Plex is good, but let’s face it… a lot of multi-disc albums are a great album of music and then a second or third disc of maybe live material, rough cuts or experiments. Personally when I’m listening, 95% of the time I only want to listen to one disc (usually the first one). Having some control to only play 1 (or a specific) disc at a time would be really great and improve the overall experience.

What happens now is I’m too distracted while working to realise where the music has gone and then wonder what I’m listening to and having to stop it and switch to something else. Having a bit finer grain control would make an essential part of my plex experience better.

Thanks, that’s not what I asked at all.

This is a feature request, there are plenty of ways to work around it, but I didn’t ask the question ‘how do I do it’. I asked for a feature to be implemented.
