Ability to shuffle play all synced music with the Android app.
Reason:
When playing synced music on-the-go you're currently limited to playing/shuffling a single album. But most of the time I don't play just one album, instead I simply shuffle my whole library.
Unfortunately I can't do this with the Android app, because there is no Button available to shuffle all synced content.
Artists have this very button, but when pressing it the playback fails with "Unable to play media" (no matter if you're on 3G,Wifi or no network at all).
It would be really nice to play ALL music items offline, instead of using megabytes of data from my mobile plan streaming the content.
I'm aware that music is not the key feature of Plex, but implementing this shouldn't be too difficult.

I would love this. To add to it, I really wish there could be a "Shuffle by Album" feature that would take all available music & shuffle through albums. I like to hear a whole album, start to finish, but get random albums.
There is sadly a huge dearth of music players with this feature on most platforms, enough that I've just lived without for a couple years. I'd really love if Plex could implement this. Just recently DSub (android Subsonic client) implemented a version of it and it's a lifesaver - when in any album view, hitting shuffle automatically shuffles by album, which is great for me, but I'm sure a little menu option would be good for flexible needs.

I’ve been using the Rocket Player app before I switched to Plex. This app allowed me to shuffle by artist, by album and by song. It would be so useful to do this with the Plex for Android as well.
I just started using sync so I can play music on the go and I only have a couple of songs in each album (but I have a few albums). At this point, playing synced music for me is pretty much unusable. Looking for alternative options, which is a bummer (sync was one of the reasons I bought a Plex pass).
