Can we please get this option (across the board, preferably) in the Plex clients (not just mobile stuff)?
As cool as Plex is, I can't believe that it's not possible to just do this... I know there are workarounds, but I think we really need this basic functionality.
I realise it's not present in all clients, but just in case you missed it - plex/web and iOS allow shuffling of content - including music at the section level:

Hi - thanks for pointing out how - can you tell me if this is possible with synced content on ios as I was close to raising it as a feature request 
being able to play all offline with shuffle as an option
I can't do it on Android with synced content, and if I remember rightly same with iOS but it's been a while since I've used that. +1 and many more for this feature. Would love it!
Indeed, for music the ability to not just shuffle, but to shuffle only sync'd content.
