I have already transcoded my music collection to quality I like, I do not want to re-transcode mp3 files to sync to my device. It is wastage of resource and time.
Please add option to sync original mp3 files.

+1; highly supported. Otherwise real music enthusiasts can’t really use Plex, since there is always transcoding happening
Would this feature allow other music apps (i.e. Google Play Music or Amazon Music) to be able to pick up the synced mp3s? I would like Plex to simply sync my music to the standard Music folder (choice of internal or external storage) so that any music app can play the files. Or better yet give your choice of folder in case some people don’t want other apps to be able to find those music files (maybe they want to keep separate libraries or something).
By the way, the reason I would like this feature is because the Plex music playing abilities on Android are garbage. But since I already have an organized library on Plex and Plex has the ability to sync files to my phone, I just want Plex to put those files on my phone and keep them in sync so I can listen to them on other apps.
