Hi folks, apologies if this is a duplication - I couldn’t see it anywhere. I’d love to be able to sync my FLAC files straight to my phone and tablet Plex players. As it currently is we can only sync a transcoded 320kbps MP3? Certainly don’t want to start a godawful audiophile flame war, I’m just hoping this could be easy to implement…

I can’t listen to my music offline, as the transcoding process makes all my FLAC files sounds weird and unaudible (seems like hashed)

+1; highly supported. Otherwise real music enthusiasts can’t really use Plex, since there is always transcoding happening

you get wrong duration if you sync a transcoded flac and that’s an ffmpeg bug, the easiest way to solve this is to allow original quality sync from the web client, I can’t mass select or mark music for sync in my android client and that’s annoying if you sync hundreds of albums to your phone.
