Many times I have needed the ability to refresh the metadata of a movie and don’t want to have to go to the web interface and find the movie there when it’s already in front of me. This would be nice on the TV Plex interface as well.

Was wondering, would maybe expanding the capabilites of Plex Dash maybe one way to go? Might also be easier to impliment.
Fair point. Interestingly you can already scan libraries, edit their settings or (fix) match individual items… just no option to refresh metadata.
The main point is that you’re already browsing your media and on the one you want to refresh. To have to jump to another app or website, then have to find the media you were already on is tedious.
