I just bought a new ASrock 4x4 with the 4800U Ryzen in it. I probably should have done a bit more research, but here I am with a smoking hot cpu and software transcoding… :grimacing: I put my vote on this issue. I really would like to see some movement from Plex.

I’d also love to see this added, and don’t understand why this is being ignored. Looking at this, it seems trivial to add HW encoding support for AMD. Why do we have to tinker with the application just to get support for something that’s definitely not niche anymore?
