Hi, I am a big fan of Plexamp. Most of the time I am listening music through my desktop (which also hosts the server) and I would like to be able to change the location of the cache directory so I can minimize the writes count on the system ssd. In my specific case (plexamp on the same system as the server) I don’t find necessary to cache (copy the track to a different system drive) for it to play (I may be mistaken by this).

can you use a symlink?
Yes I used a symlink to a directory in my tmpfs /tmp after your suggestion with a script to create the directory in /tmp on startup and it works. It’s a neat workaround but if it isn’t so difficult to implement I would prefer an option inside the app itself. Thank you.
