Plex sync - Transcode cach location

Hello!

Great product, I have searched the forum and found out that there is no way to change the location of the storage of transcode cache.

I like many others have SSD drives as primary disks and a secondary big disk. That´s why I would like to have the temporary storage on my secondary disk and not my primary that gets filled up long before the iPad and iPhone.

You can sym limk it anywhere on OSX or Linux, and windows can do something similar (not sure what they call it this week)

Very good idea, I will try to use a symbolic link. That can solve the problem for now, but my feature request stands.

The symbolic link is a good fix but it would be easier and available to more people if we can change directory directly inside PMS.

Actually, you can change the transcoder directory in Plex/Web:

Go to setting, transcoder, show advanced settings, and there you go…

The Sync transcoder is different.
