Currently I know that you can choose which device you cast to via Chromecast, or you can see who is playing what on what device.
Would it not be cool to have the UI show all the devices that are currently running plex and show them as a playback option? for instance I could start playing on my PC, then choose the Chromecast to cast, or choose to continue playback on my phone. (Then leave the house)
(Also include system configured volume control? I could control my phones volume via my PC?)
(Mobile devices should show as a server. I know this is in DEV now.)
This should be available for devices both on the local network, and devices that are not, possibly even a service for choosing your friends devices? (If I enter his home and want to play something, I could see what devices he has available)
Similar to the UE Boom or Megaboom speakers, it would be very cool to be able to choose multiple devices to be playing on. They would then sync and play at the same time.
