I have always limited my port forwarding to specific source IP addresses to ensure security and have had to put in quite a few rules to enable remote access checks from the Amazon cloud.
I was hoping that this could be disabled somehow that the account would just have the server entry and remote access enabled and never check it from the cloud and just pass the server info onto the client.
This way each Plex Server would only have to port forward to those users who need access and we wouldn’t have to enter in all of the IP ranges for Amazon’s cloud servers that Plex uses to check and validate remote access is enabled.
