In our home we use PMS with multiple AppleTV 4th Gen clients . In some situations, it would be very nice to disable the display or tracking of whether a particular movie/show has been watched or not, and whether it has been started or not. We, in certain scenarios, don’t want to see the orange colored triangle at the top right of the movie poster when browsing the collections. Configuring this to be disabled would allow users to view the movie collection without the distraction of these orange triangles and allow a cleaner, purer view of the collection. For instance, why should guests in a family/living room see what movies/shows in the collection you have watched yet or not? Also in such a case, the “Resume watching / Start at the beginning” popup can be similarly distracting… An easy setting in the client to disregard watched/unwatched status of items would be really great.
