Hello, I’d like to know if it is possible (or planned) to download content from a shared library?
Usage example: The library that was shared with me contains a lot of HD material, but the upload speed only allows for SD quality. On-the-fly transcoding could solve this (kind of) but this requires a strong Plex server (which in my case does not exist, Atom Single Core CPU). I would like to be able to download movies from this shared library into my own library (or a cache, like the cloud sync). Pretty much like the feature that exists for mobile devices (sync to mobile). Maybe call this “Sync to Library”?
Please forgive me, if this has been asked already or if it is posted in the wrong place. I’m rather new to the Plex forum.
