[Feature Request] Export Filtered Selection To File.

Hi,

 

Perhaps not a wildly exciting feature, but practical for some use cases.

 

Would it be possible to allow the export (as a text file perhaps, no special formatting required) of the results of a filter? For example, I wanted to list all the movies I have that are in SD, 480p, 576p resolutions. That was easy. Plex showed me a list of movies that match that criteria once I configured the filter correctly. However, if I try to select the range (using my mouse) it doesn't work.

 

An example use case might be to feed the results of the filter into a script that removes all low resolution movies (and tv shows).

Maybe this is of use to you:

Use the Plex2CSV custom channel and feed its output into a spreadsheet software. Do the filtering and sorting there. Erase unwanted columns and export the result as txt.
