So at home, I have a 3DTV and I watch a lot of 3D movies with my family. My CouchPotato is set up to always download the 3D version of new releases when available. I also travel on business a lot and use a FireTV stick to run Plex and watch movies on crappy 32" non-3D hotel TVs.
Kodi offers users the option to “flatten” 3D movies so that they can be watched on 2D screens. Plex doesn’t seem to have a similar feature, so when I’m in a hotel room and want to watch a movie that only exists on my server in 3D, I can’t unless I separately download a 2D version of it. It would be nice for me to be able to watch the 3D movies in my library while I’m traveling.
