Web has Get Info option which can show everything about file. However, on other clients… say Android-Phone app has just core info (audio/video codec, subtitle) and that’s it.
Having to show more info like Filename, Filesize, Bitrate, etc. would be really helpful.
Why?
- Helps to get idea of file before streaming. Things like Filename, Filesize, Bitrate, etc.
- No confusion whether it’s remux, encode or something else.
