Feature Request: High Res Album Art or Bust (option)

Loving Plexamp more every day.

This is relatively minor, but I would love an option that identifies low res album art so I can see all the artwork I need to find higher res versions of. A little to-do list I can plug away at when I have some downtime. Would also be great if the album art selector in Plex noted the resolution in the corner of the artwork, as it is often hard to tell until I am viewing it in the large player. Ideally, there would be an option to always select higher resolution album art when available as well, maybe with a selectable threshold.

Thanks for developing such amazing software!

This has absolutely nothing to do with Plexamp. But everything with the server.

I think a better place to put this readout would be in the non-Plexamp clients, when you look at the Library view. You can already display all the tracks and sort them by duration – good for finding damaged tracks, btw. Optionally showing the art dimensions as a sortable column header would let us spot poor quality images. You could then easily pop into album or track info to fix the images. (Or, use the list as reference for your tagging tool.)
