I am fairly new to plex and have set up all my media folders. The one issue I have is the resultion of album art. I have always been careful to tag music correctly, especially with art work. I have scanned my music folder and Plex seems to have managed to select the lowest quality art work. If I click the edit pencil and to the posters tab there is the low quality art work as well as the original high quality one, which I can select and works great. I think this may have been due to the way I set up the agents. But I have tried reordering them and did a refresh, but it doesn’t seem to have worked.
I am thinking of deleting the library and starting again with local media as the top agent.
Will this work? Or should I try something else first?
Did you ever get a response to this? I’m having the same issue. If there are two options available to Plex, it always picks the lowest resolution option. Looks atrocious on my 4K tv. I would like the exact opposite. I would like to automatically select the highest resolution album art. Plex people: what to do?
