This seems interesting. I wonder if highly customizable smart playlist could be an alternative. The music side of things would also benefit from smart playlist.

Seems the code for what we are after is somewhat done?
Just need the ability to somehow filter down or create a smart playlist.

This feels like such a great concept to just let it die. It’s one of those things that people don’t realize they want until they actually have it, and then they can’t live without it. I implore the plex team to see the value in such a request. It doesn’t seem like it’d be too complicated to integrate, but it would make plex infinitely more appealing to the average user wanting one-stop-shop media experience.
