I’m not sure how the cast querying works, but it appears that Plex dumps every cast member that’s ever appeared on a show into the cast list for every episode.
I’d like to see that changed to limit it to the characters that appear in just that episode. I believe that’s what IMDB shows when you view a specific episode on that site. Maybe Plex could query them for results.
This would be very helpful for long running shows or ones with decent cast turnover. I don’t care that “x” actor was in Season 2-4, when we’re on Season 20 now. It’s not relevant to the current episode.
