Feature that displays the local time of the users media chosen to watch. On the menu to play the media, display the local time that the media ends. If it is 1200 pm local time and the media is 31:45 then display in another color (green?) with the time at 12:32 pm (rounding for the seconds).
Which app?
This is already working in Plex Media Player.
interesting…can you show me a screenshot of this because I have never seen it (just checked on android and PC) anywhere in Plex before.
Android TV has it. Mobile does not. Here is an old shot of it on Android TV. It’s a little different now but the time is still there.
right. This is the total run time and current progress of the film. This is not what I am speaking to. the run time of this movie is 2hr and 22 minutes. Let’s say it is 1200 PM local to when you pressed the “play” button. it would be nice if before I started the movie (where I press the “play” button) it shows the run time and shows, in another color so it is distinguishable, 2:22 PM local time as that would be when the movie would end relative to what time I started it.
Oh, I guess that really is an old image. It’s been changed. The time on the left will be the current time and the one on the right will be the ending time. I’ll get you an updated image later.
Here’s how it looks like in PMP. The darker numbers are the clocktime. (24hr mode)
Yes that’s it! I would go even easier and just put the local end time in the beginning before the media is started (screenshot attached for example) but is there a reason why this is not across all players? seems like a useful thing to see imo.
