Currently the DVR won’t record a show episode that’s already in Plex’s library. Occasionally TV shows air with weather scroll graphics, or elections results or breaking news overlaid/plastered all over the video stream. It would be nice to be able to keep the recording (because something is better than nothing) but mark it as bad or never recorded before so if that episode airs again Plex can record a (hopefully better) copy.
I’ll second that.
A simple, “re-record” option that would trigger a replacement recording would be a welcome and logical feature.
