It would be great to be able to broadcast an easily updatable server message to all clients streaming from your server.
I envisage a simple text box to insert your message and a small ticker at the top of all of the clients that will display it when entering your shared media section.
Reasons for this are as varied as your imagination really.
eg:
Re
1. Announcing updates and /or downtime to your buddies.
2. Letting them know of changes in the media (re-ripping from blue ray to replace a DVD rip for example)
3. Wishing your friends a happy new year/christmas/birthday
The list is endless.
It doesnt need to be anything flashy, just a scrolling message which could be enabled/disabled on either end at the top of the client screen.
Anyone have any thoughts?
