Currently, the Plex app for Android TV only shows the following information when an episode is playing:
S"xx"E"yy" (where ‘xx’ denotes the season of the episode, and ‘yy’ denotes the episode number of the season)
Date of Episode
It would be great if instead of the S"xx"E"yy", or in addition to, Plex showed the name of the episode, similar to how it shows the name of movies when playing.
Is this something that would be possible in future releases?
Is this something that will ever be answered? I get that it’s just a simple feature request, but at least some acknowledgement that it’s either being worked on, or not, would be nice.
There is a tremendous amount of feature requests. Statistically, most will indeed not get answered at least for a while. They seem to be putting a lot of focus on music stuff at the moment which personally I couldn’t give two sh!ts about. Definitely hope they come back around to the video content and it gets some dedication.
I would also like to see this.
