Using data imported from various databases it would be nice to implement a featured content list for each media type so that on the movies tab you could see movies that were released on this day in previous years. I always like to revisit films and albums (sometimes even television programs) on their anniversary. I know some people make it a point to watch Ghostbusters every year on June 7th. Another feature similar to this one that could be implemented if the data set allows for it are themed seasonal features, like Halloween movies, Christmas movies, etc. This may be harder to accomplish with the genre tags that currently exist. Thank you for any follow-up or for other Plex users that share their thoughts on this request. I use TimeHop to look at my old social media posts (which is antiquated since I no longer really use social media) and I think the best feature is the little blips at the end that tell me how many years it has been since a movie was released or an album first debuted, I often find myself watching that film on Plex in the evening or digging through IMDb to figure out what the film was about.
