I think it would be a valuable option to be able to set the order of the timeline (ascending/descending), and to set the order of photos within a day independent of the timeline order.
For example, currently the timeline is descending only (newest first), and the order of photos within a day is also descending. The descending timeline makes sense, at least to me, but the descending photos per day is backwards.
I would like to be able to have a descending timeline, but display photos per day in ascending order of date/time taken.
It would be nice if the server owner could set defaults for these settings, but clients should be able to set their own preferences, and remember them across sessions.
