Hello Plex friends,
I would love to still have the choice to leave Plex Home PIN Authentication active when I add IPs to the “no authentication needed in LAN” list. The simple reason for this is that when the online servers are down you cannot access the server over PLEX apps if you dont add the IP of the user to the “no authentication needed in LAN” list and still have a functioning access control.
This is especially bad if you for example have kids. If you add their IPs to no authentication needed they are essentially admins and can watch everything and can even delete your stuff. I made a litte example of how it could look like:
