I’m sure a lot of us appreciate the Plex Dash app already, so congrats to the team for springing this on us, and so well polished at that.
However, I wish I could scan a particular TV Show, rather than the whole library, like I do in the Web Dashboard (“Refresh Metadata”), to avoid a huge sweep over hundreds of TV Shows when I know for a fact I just downloaded the latest episode of “bla bla bla”.
This is probably in the works already, but since I didn’t find a post about it, thought I should point it out.
Basically just add any editing features from Plex Web into Plex dash. If I notice something is wrong on the tv, I usually have to fire up my laptop and load Plex Web to fix whatever the issue is. Would be nice if those options were in Plex dash!
Just ran into this problem actually. A new tv show was added to Plex and the poster was not loaded so the poster is blank on the TV. Tried to load Plex Dash to fix it but didn’t have any options to do so. There were no alternate posters shown when I edited the show, and there was no way to add a poster manually from my photos app. So I ended up having to go to Plex web on my laptop to fix and load a poster manually.
Other than a few of these missing editing features, love the potential of the app and that you’re even doing one at all!
