Metadata refresh for a TV episode

From time to time Sickbeard gets a episode and hits thetvdb for metadata before it has been added, i.e. the episode exists but there’s no description or image. Sometime later the metadata is added and I go back to the episode inside Plex and hit refresh, but it NEVER seems to re-fetch and I have to manually edit the episode and add the information.

If I unmatch the show and then do a new match back to the same show it obviously finds the new metadata but that’s a massive pain.

Am I missing something here?

Refresh the whole show, not just the affected episode.

I understand that, it’s just counter-intuitive that there’s a refresh button at episode level that doesn’t refresh. My thoughts are it should either, you know, refresh or not exist :slight_smile:
