Right now plex web shows up as “Plex Web (Chrome)” for all my HTPC devices. It would be helpful under the web config if we could add an alias to make it show up as “Plex Web (Living Room)” for example.
This would be amazing. It’s not strange to have 2+ Plex web clients running in my house at any given time, and trying to figure out which “Plex Web (Chrome)” is the one that I want to control is frustrating.
Wish there was an upvote function … I just started using Plex and somehow ended up running two revisions of the client on each of three machines. It’s remembering all of them separately, so it’s now showing 6 “Plex Web (Chrome)” devices.
