Hi, all my mobile photos get uploaded to plex as does my wife’s from her phone too. Sometimes I’d like to share photos she’s taken and vice versa from within Plex to my friends. However when using the android app there is no feature within a photo library or when viewing an individual picture that enables us to share it to facebook etc. so we have to resort to logging in to a PC to do this via the filesystem.
Please can we have this social sharing feature added to into the plex photos library asap?

I've had this same request from my wife as well. She used to do this with iPhoto, but I'm trying to completely eliminate that because I'm not a fan.. having a native option to share photos in the Plex web client would be nice. Even something that exposed a 'save this image to my desktop' function would be OK -- since there is no ability to right click on an image or anything to capture it locally..

Photo functionality is very basic at this moment. You can view a photo and cast to a Chromecast, that's it.
I would love to be able to use the Android built-in "share with an app"-function. This way, I can set pictures as a background, send by mail, set as a contact picture, or share on every social network that has an android app.
If it is implemented this way, everything is possible with your photo's. So please, don't limit to just integration with Social Networks only.
+1 I was just trying to figure out how to submit this as a feature request. In addition to sharing the photo via social media, it would be nice if there were an option to "save" or "download" the image in the browser or PC clients.
I don't understand how this BASIC functionality isn't included in the Android photo viewer by default...almost every app I've got on my phone that can display content allows for this so it can't be very hard to implement...
I would also like to see the ability to create photo albums, much like the music playlists, without copying/duplicating the photos to each folder. Functionality like this exists on Flickr, so a photo can be in one or more albums at the same time, but is only uploaded once. I have 50,000+ photos. I’d like to be able to organize them into albums/playlists, whatever you want to call themn, and/or assign favorites.
Agreed, also downloading the photo’s from a Library. I can do this on iOS but not on Android… I have loads of artists I like within plex and it’s nice to use some of them as wallpapers sometimes.
