[Feature Request] Shared Library Diff Report

My friends and I all run Plex and have decent sized libraries and we have come across the need for what I call a "library diff" report. Basically, I want to take my friends Shared Library and diff it against my own library and the create a report of what media they have that is not in my own library. It would also notify me of when they have a duplicate of something in my library, but at a higher resolution/better audio format.

Is this already possible? I mean, I realize Plex is database driven so this should be theoretically possible I'd think. But in doing some google searches I couldn't come across anything like what I am thinking of. What does everyone else think of this?

Did I not create this topic properly or something? The link on how to create a successful feature request goes to the general wiki and I cant seem to find a specific entry about this.

You got it right.  What you are asking is pretty complicated to do across shared libraries.  You don't have access to your friends database and they don't have access to yours.  If this is something you want, it's gonna have to be an external program to compare the databases, and you'd have to get a copy of your friends database too,
